AIG learned about Elite 4×4 when they enquired about our business support services. Owner Nathan Corpus wanted help with applying for funding and setting up accounting systems, human resource policies and procedures and strategic planning for their business.
What are business support services?
AIG has been offering business support services to Aboriginal corporations free of charge or heavily discounted for over 10 years. We offer five categories of support: governance training, project management, grant writing, CEO, COO and CFO outsourcing and Bookkeeping.
“We are an Aboriginal corporation too, and know inside out and back to front the support available for Aboriginal owned businesses. There is a decent amount of jumping through hoops required, especially when it comes to government funding, but we’re good at jumping!” said AIG CEO, Liz Morgan-Brett.
Elite 4×4 had exhausted all other avenues
Nathan said he was out of options when he approached AIG for help. “We sought assistance from multiple government agencies but found the red tape absolutely demoralising, unnecessarily complex and confusing.”
Nathan was worried about the sustainability of his business and wanted support to build foundations for a financially accountable and successful business. When he approached AIG he said he had exhausted all other options.
“AIG assisted us in securing grant funding as well as loans so we could buy stock and open the doors of Elite 4 x 4. Within year one, we’ve turned over more than $1,000,000 in income and we now employ four people. AIG continues to support us with bookkeeping services, and we couldn’t be happier with the support and care they provide.”
