Celebrating our partners

In a sector where diverse skills and agility are needed to be successful, it has been vital for AIG to nurture authentic and mutually beneficial relationships with our partners and supporters. We love working with like-minded organisations to deliver solutions that are driven by innovation and care, and we’re even more delighted to pay tribute to our partners in this article.

Strength in partnership

We believe it is critical to set ambitious goals to realise our vision for a future where Aboriginal people living across the seven northern regions of the Northern Territory can thrive economically, socially and culturally. The key to our success is to work together with communities and engage key partners whose values align with ours to strengthen our service capabilities.

AIG CEO Liz Morgan-Brett firmly believes in working collectively to create new solutions for old problems.

“Our holistic and solutions-based approach, coupled with our ability to work in a mutually beneficial way with our partners, means we deliver more for the communities we serve. Our partners are vital.”

Large or small, every partnership is valued

AIG is unique and successful for three reasons: our connection to the people living in the community; our ability to listen to find new solutions to old problems and as a small and agile team, we can react, revisit, and try new things. This is where our partnerships come into play. We see our small group of diverse professionals and specialists as our advantage, and rely on our partners to help us achieve our goals, whether that be:

We see our partners as part of our family and work to ensure there is mutual benefit in working together.

Our business partners are a key example of this. Alongside working with them to support their core business activities, we have benefited from their in-kind support on numerous occasions.

Partner case study

As a leading top-tier international law firm, King & Wood Mallesons sees it as their responsibility to use their expertise, networks and resources to strengthen communities. Recently, the firm has provided pro bono support to AIG, securing patents for design and the trademark for our Remote Laundries logo. In addition, they have worked closely with us to finalise our Katherine redevelopment contract.

“We have a role to play. We work in trusted partnerships with community-led organisations to further strengthen communities. We know that it is often the smaller organisations making the biggest impact, so at the end of the day, it is our privilege to work with and alongside our community partners. We are grateful to be part of the journey!” said KWM Solicitor, Shelby Koh.

“KWM was absolutely fantastic to work with and we couldn’t have ever achieved these results without their knowledge, expertise and generosity,” said AIG CEO Liz Morgan-Brett.

Government support crucial

Crucial to our success is the ongoing support of both the Northern Territory Government and the National Indigenous Australians Agency. Without their continued funding, our impact would be far less for the multiple communities AIG serves.

If you also share our vision for building stronger communities and your organisation or business sees an opportunity for mutual benefit, please get in touch with AIG CEO Liz Morgan-Brett.

As an AIG partner, you can benefit from employee engagement opportunities, creating positive brand awareness, helping with meeting the organisations’ RAP/CSR KPI or simply increasing community engagement. We tailor each partnership to meet the unique opportunities of the organisation.

A big shout-out to our amazing partners!
